This year Lancaster Art Fair is looking for local artists and makers for our first Maker’s Fair!

We are very excited to be hosting our Maker’s Fair this year in two popular and well attended Lancaster institutions. St Nicholas Arcade is a busy shopping centre in the heart of Lancaster town centre. The Makers Market will be held in their bustling arcade amongst popular shops and cafes.

The Gregson Centre is a community owned arts and community centre bringing people together through numerous creative and cultural events. It also has a cafe/bar and food to order. The centre is a 10 minute walk from the town centre and situated in a densely populated neighbourhood.

The Maker’s Market will take place on the 22nd and 23rd August at St Nicholas Arcade and the 24th August at The Gregson Centre.

Times: St Nicholas Arcade: Friday 22nd and 23rd August 10.00-4.00pm

            The Gregson Centre: Sunday 24th August 11.00am- 4.00pm

Costs: £40 per day at St Nicholas Arcade

           £30 per day at The Gregson Centre

We can provide a 6 foot table space but ideally bring your own table if selling at St Nicholas Arcade. (We may be able to provide a table on request) The Gregson Centre will have tables to use.

What we need to know:

• Please send up to 5 images of your work, including images of what you would like to sell

• Short Artist Bio (up to 300 words) include information on which art and or products you will be selling

• Which venue would you prefer to have a table to sell from?

• Which day/s do you want to take part in the Maker’s Market?

• Do you need a table? Please let us know how big a table you need if selling at St Nicholas Arcade)

Alternative Application: If you would like to apply in a different format such as video or audio recordings of your workshop outlines then please get in touch! We are happy to accept alternative forms of applications.
